About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Homesite. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for quoting and selling insurance products to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quote and sell insurance products to new and existing customers
  • Advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to their circumstances and needs
  • Run reports from multiple systems to verify accuracy of information provided by potential insured regarding insurance and driving history
  • Service existing customer policies, including policy changes when customer service is not available
  • Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure policy underwriting adherence and improve retention
  • Attend sales meetings, seminars, or educational activities to stay current with market trends, regulations, and maintain state licensing
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a home-based environment with occasional travel to office locations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
