Controlled Environment Equipment Technician

We are seeking a Controlled Environment Equipment Technician to join our team at Medical Technology Associates LLC.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Position:
- This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel (90% or more) across the country.
- As a Controlled Environment Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing certifications, testing, and maintenance of clean rooms, hoods, and infusion centers in pharmacies, laboratories, and hospitals nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing MTA accounts for thorough and accurate verifications and certifications of clean rooms, biological safety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, fume hoods, and other controlled environment equipment.
- Traveling on an established route to test, certify, and perform maintenance/repair of controlled environment equipment.
- Utilizing Field Aware system for job scheduling, job tracking, and time reporting.
- Providing high-quality customer service and reports to customers on equipment performance.
Requirements:
- CETA, NEBB, or NSF certification preferred.
- Background in air balancing, biomedical, pharmaceutical, HVAC, environmental testing, and/or clean rooms is a plus.
- Prior experience as a Field Service Technician, 3-5 years preferred.
- Strong mathematical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude required.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, passion for quality and accuracy.
- Highly organized, exceptional customer service skills & professional appearance and behavior.
