Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Team Manager to join our team in the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of other medical supply technicians to ensure efficient and effective operation of the sterile processing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other medical supply technicians.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for decontamination and sterilization of medical equipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all medical equipment before it is released for use.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimize delays.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of decontamination and sterilization procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $63,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
