Job Overview: HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at SparklingCraft LLC. As a critical member of our maintenance and facilities management company, you will be responsible for performing routine HVAC maintenance tasks, conducting system inspections, and troubleshooting complex HVAC problems to ensure optimal performance and functionality of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Repair:
  1. Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  2. Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment malfunctions, such as mechanical failures, electrical issues, and refrigerant leaks, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  3. Replace or upgrade components of existing HVAC systems to improve efficiency and performance.
Maintenance:
  1. Perform routine HVAC maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC components to prevent breakdowns and prolong system lifespan.
  2. Conduct system inspections to identify potential issues, recommending preventive measures or repairs as necessary.
  3. Test HVAC systems to verify proper operation and compliance with performance standards.
Troubleshooting:
  1. Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex HVAC problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to restore functionality.
  2. Provide technical guidance to clients on HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency best practices.
  3. Document all service activities, including repairs and maintenance tasks, for accurate record-keeping.
Compliance and Safety:
  1. Ensure all HVAC work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  2. Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to HVAC systems.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies for equipment handling and disposal.
Requirements:
  • Valid HVAC technician license issued in the USA.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with proficiency in installation, repair, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, and controls, including refrigeration and electrical systems.
  • Must have your own tools and transportation with a valid driver's license.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex HVAC issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Clean driving record.
