Franklin Fitch is seeking a senior infrastructure administrator to spearhead initiatives at their data center, aimed at both supporting and enhancing the existing infrastructure. You will collaborate on a range of projects in several key areas.

Key Project Areas:

  • Systems Management: Expertise in overseeing and optimizing operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows) to ensure their reliability, security, and efficiency. Familiarity with Active Directory management. Experience in system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Network Administration: Proficient in configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls and security measures. Understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching. Knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs, with the ability to resolve network challenges.
  • Virtualization and Cloud Services: Knowledge of virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V, KVM, Scale). Understanding of Microsoft Azure licensing, configuration, and support. Experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Scripting and Process Automation: Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). Capability to automate repetitive processes through scripting.
  • Data Storage and Backup Solutions: Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID). Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems, particularly Veeam and Synology.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 7-12 years of IT experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Willingness to work on-site

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP), Value-Added Resellers (VAR), or Integrators
