About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing electromechanical hardware and systems for our dynamic electronic military systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electromechanical hardware and systems for military electronics
  • Provide support for the design, development, integration/test, and production of dynamic electronic military systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Perform root cause and corrective action activities in a production environment
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in product development and support of DoD military electronics equipment
  • Solid fundamentals of mechanical design, analysis, and documentation principles
  • Experience with state-of-the-art mechanical engineering development software tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge/experience with manufacturing, production, and sustainment of mechanical systems and hardware
  • Experience in the design/development of complex mechanical systems and hardware
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of electronic circuit card assemblies
