Job Description

Riggs Industries is seeking a highly skilled Parts Sales Specialist to join our team in Cumberland, MD. As a key member of our sales and inventory control team, you will be responsible for selling replacement parts and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales of Stock Replacement Parts: Sell replacement parts to customers, including manufactured replacement parts and aftermarket equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory held by the company for production and inventory sold and shipped to customers, shops, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Estimating and Quoting: Develop quotes for repair work and provide estimates to customers.
  • Inventory Control: Take inventory of stock and ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order Fulfillment: Fill customer orders from stock and ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Payment and Credit: Receive payment or obtain credit authorization from customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma and one year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with Riggs Industries products, and excellent computer skills, data entry, and MS Office skills.
