At Somerset Healthcare & Rehabilitation, we are looking for a Practical Nursing Specialist who is passionate about providing care to seniors and dedicated to the healthcare profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to assigned patients.
- Administer and document medications and treatments as required.
- Prepare for and assist healthcare providers with diagnostic tests and treatments.
- Educate and support patients and their families with health care instructions.
- Collaborate with team members in planning, executing, and assessing nursing care and patient activities.
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge processes of patients.
- Monitor and report on patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Document observations regarding patients' responses to the nursing care provided.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Support unit management and may assume charge of the unit as assigned.
