Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Associate Attorney specializing in Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation. This role is vital to our legal team, focusing on delivering comprehensive legal guidance and solutions in the realms of employee benefits and executive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal counsel on a variety of employee benefits and executive compensation issues.
  2. Develop and execute thorough legal strategies to address the organization's employee benefits and compensation needs.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate intricate legal documents pertaining to employee benefits and compensation, including employment agreements, benefit plans, and executive compensation contracts.
  4. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge.
  5. Represent the organization in legal matters related to employee benefits and compensation.
  6. Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to align legal strategies with business goals.
  7. Provide training and support to HR and management on legal matters concerning employee benefits and compensation.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on employee benefits and executive compensation.
  3. Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or willing to obtain admission.
  4. Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to employee benefits and compensation, including ERISA, tax laws, and securities regulations.
  5. Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex legal concepts clearly.
  8. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
  9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
