Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Associate to join our team at Platinum Dermatology Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating reports related to incidents, accidents, and adverse events, and guiding risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Analyze Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into reports of incidents, accidents, and adverse events, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Collect and analyze documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Review and Assess Risk Management Policies: Review and assess existing risk management policies and protocols, and make recommendations for modifications and improvements.
  • Develop and Present Risk Reports: Develop and present risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Identify and Develop Educational Initiatives: Identify and develop educational initiatives related to risk trends, and provide training and support to staff as needed.
  • Provide Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to staff on risk management-related matters, including insurance coverage and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, and Certified Medical Assistant and/or Medical Assistant training.
  • Experience: At least one year of clinical experience providing direct patient care, such as experience as a Registered Nurse, Medical Assistant, etc.
  • Skills and Abilities: Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong supervisory and leadership skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
