**Business Unit COO Associate Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Unit COO Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze financial models to assess the firm's potential exposure in adverse market events and provide recommendations to minimize monetary risk.
  • Conduct stress tests on banks' liquidity and capital ratios to evaluate their ability to withstand severe economic shocks.
  • Implement effective controls and mitigate risk by ensuring internal control over equities tradable products and coordinating with legal and compliance teams.
  • Assist management in decision-making by providing financial analysis and hypothesis testing models for stress testing scenarios.
  • Monitor and analyze the budget, estimates, accruals, and payables methods for a multi-billion-dollar company and work with managing accounting processes.
  • Implement risk management, optimization analysis, and process improvement in commodities or equities markets.
  • Perform competitor research and evaluate market structure and opportunities through data to assess competitors' performance across clients and products.
  • Develop financial strategies in global markets business and products for equities or commodities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Prior experience must include one year (if Master's) or three years (if Bachelor's) in the following areas:
    • Quantitative financial models related to equities or commodities for optimizing performance, monitoring risk, and cost analysis.
    • Financial analysis or hypothesis testing models for stress testing scenarios.
    • Monitoring the budget, estimates, accruals, and payables methods for a multi-billion-dollar company.
    • Implementing risk management, optimization analysis, and process improvement in commodities or equities markets.
    • Performing competitor research and evaluating market structure and opportunities through data.
    • Developing financial strategies in global markets business and products for equities or commodities.
