Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator.

This is a permanent role in a fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in our construction operations.

You will collaborate with a team of committed professionals who are passionate about their work and dedicated to delivering high-quality projects for our clients.


  • Preparing comprehensive estimating packages for construction projects, including the assessment of material quantities and labor expenses.
  • Reviewing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to develop time, cost, and labor estimates for projects or services.
  • Conducting risk assessments, identifying potential challenges, and proposing viable solutions.
  • Participating in proposal presentations to clients, providing insights on costs, feasibility, and project timelines.
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to create accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all estimates, tracking design changes, updated drawings, and adjustments to cost projections.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to management regarding the status of ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Assisting in contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all project aspects in contract terms.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, ideally within the commercial construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with estimating software or equivalent tools.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional certification, such as a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), is advantageous.
