Technical Sales Director

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales team for film capacitors in the US. Your primary goal will be to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Direct sales activity at existing and target accounts, coordinating design activity with engineering and sales activity with purchasing.
- Maintain and expand customer base and build rapport with key accounts.
- Identify new customer opportunities.
- Participate in periodic sales forecasts with Management.
- Provide inputs from the industry to identify new needs and trends for R&D and marketing purposes.
- Coordinate periodic technical seminars/presentations at key/ existing accounts.
- Quarterly reviews of targets with Management, making revisions when appropriate.
- Minimum 2-year education in technical studies required.
- Knowledge of electronic components.
- Ability to address high-end aerospace, alternate energy & high power electronic systems.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel (Travel can be up to 30%).
- $65,000-$80,000 per year depending on Experience.
