GENERAL OVERVIEW
The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) enhances the value of the organization by nurturing and expanding UniFirst's uniform rental, direct sales, and various products and services associated with our most significant key accounts.
The SAE is fully accountable for the current status of the accounts and holds complete responsibility for all account performance metrics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at all levels within your accounts through proactive outreach and regular meetings both on-site and off-site.
Leverage internal and external resources to retain clients, boost rental revenue, provide additional product insights, and explore new revenue streams.
Oversee customer contract/PO status and ensure timely renewal of contracts/POs before expiration.
Collaborate closely with all UniFirst departments to guarantee customer satisfaction that exceeds expectations.
Generate leads for the Service and Sales teams as necessary.
Foster internal interdepartmental relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, drive new business development, enhance revenue, and increase profitability.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare reports on business transactions and maintain expense accounts.
Communicate effectively with management regarding service and sales challenges, successes, and requirements related to new business generation.
Participate in weekly meetings.
Stay informed on sales techniques, professional knowledge, and self-development to maximize career growth and advancement.
Assist the service team in customizing uniform programs and renewing customer contracts upon expiration.
Remain updated on Company capabilities, product offerings, and changes related to sales and customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred college degree.
3 to 5+ years of proven sales and/or service experience.
Willingness to travel approximately 70% - 80% for customer engagement.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Effective problem-solving skills (solutions and execution).
Experience in order writing, proposals, and pricing.
