Long Term Care LPN Leader

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides long-term direct care, administers treatments and medications, and organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff consistent with staff competency and each individual resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care.
Duties and Essential Functions:
- Makes daily rounds on assigned unit to observe, examine or interview residents
- In absence of the Registered Nurse, develops and distributes resident care assignments to direct care staff
- Directs daily assignments and evaluates the work of other caregivers
- Uses independent judgment to make recommendations regarding resident care
Education/Licenses/Certifications/Other Requirements:
- Minimum graduate of an accredited school for practical nursing
- Current and active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of KY
- PREFERRED: One year experience providing direct care to residents in long-term care setting
