Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Utilizing Procore project management software to monitor, manage, and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinating and supervising all construction activities, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to meet all project requirements.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Managing the construction process from conceptual development through to final construction, ensuring compliance with specific standards.
  • Maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Implementing and upholding safety standards and protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Healthcare Project Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in the healthcare, science, or academic sectors.
  • Proven experience with tilt-up construction techniques and Procore project management software.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling and project management principles.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare construction industry, including specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be advantageous.
