Position Summary
The Senior Branch Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the service and sales functions, marketing strategies, operational budget, profitability, and overall integrity of the branch. This role requires fostering a motivated and well-trained sales team to deliver outstanding member service and meet financial objectives. The manager will represent the credit union within the community, focusing on building strong relationships and expanding business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve branch financial targets, member satisfaction, operational efficiency, and productivity.
- Create a positive workplace culture and ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, emphasizing exceptional member service and sales achievement.
- Evaluate and develop staff through ongoing feedback and training, ensuring strong product knowledge.
- Manage branch operations to consistently meet sales and growth objectives, facilitating communication and teamwork.
- Build and maintain key member relationships, ensuring service standards are met in all interactions.
- Actively participate in community events to promote the credit union and foster local relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of lending processes, security protocols, and automated systems to support branch staff.
- Analyze local market conditions to identify sales opportunities and direct business development efforts.
- Conduct regular assessments of branch activities to align with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and operational integrity.
- Stay informed about industry trends and share insights with other branches.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A proven track record in leading teams to achieve sales and service excellence.
- Strong people management skills, fostering teamwork and development.
- Demonstrated success in sales and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of four years in financial or sales management, is required.
Working Environment
This role requires regular attendance and punctuality, with a focus on providing exceptional member service through daily interactions.
