About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our team at Huntington National Bank. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the branch, including sales, service, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value consumer and business customers, leading the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to meet customer needs and deepen relationships.
- Lead the team to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Leverage available tools and technology to identify and present sales and service opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge and educate the team on all products, services, technology, and policies.
- Develop key internal partnerships to drive business in the market area.
- Actively oversee the recruitment/hiring process to ensure the assigned market is staffed with colleagues suitable for Huntington's culture.
- Garner resources required to support the team.
- Manage the overall operations of the branch, adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory-related policies and procedures.
- Understand branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
- Demonstrate acumen in banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, sales, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching, colleague development, communication, and presentation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year or more in a goal-driven retail sales leadership role or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Bachelor's Degree and previous management experience.
- Ability to understand, drive, and lead branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance within the branch and digital channels.
- Demonstrates acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, sales leadership, customer service, process management, coaching, and colleague development and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
- Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.
- Ability to develop, influence, inspire, and motivate colleagues to increase retention.
