Job Summary

The Beauport Hotel Gloucester is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide expert knowledge of our hotel's facilities, services, and amenities to clients, and make recommendations to enhance their event experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including catering, events, and operations, to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and event details.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and event operations, including catering, event planning, and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Working Environment:

  • Work will primarily take place in the hotel property, with occasional travel to off-site events and meetings.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
