We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Beauport Hotel Gloucester. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, while also assisting the Housekeeping Department as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Event Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down event spaces, including moving tables and chairs, placing tablecloths and place settings, and hooking up projectors and speakers.
- Task Management: Organize and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring that all areas of the property are maintained to the highest standards.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized working environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Housekeeping Department and other team members to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for at least 8 hours at a time, and climb ladders as needed.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role, with experience in banquets highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
