Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Beauport Hotel Gloucester. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, while also assisting the Housekeeping Department as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down event spaces, including moving tables and chairs, placing tablecloths and place settings, and hooking up projectors and speakers.
  • Task Management: Organize, review, and prioritize daily task checklists to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to established cleaning schedules and safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Event Management Team and Housekeeping Department to ensure seamless execution of events.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for at least 8 hours, and climb ladders.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role, with experience in banquets highly preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
