HR Generalist

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in managing total rewards, compliance, and the administration of HRIS systems. This position will also involve supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, policy development, and the organization of special events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Total Rewards Management:
    • Coordinate benefit plan designs and lead the annual enrollment process.
    • Administer all benefits and retirement programs, ensuring smooth processing of enrollment and change requests.
    • Act as a liaison with external benefits administrators and resolve any issues faced by employees.
    • Analyze compensation data to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
    • Manage employee leave requests and provide support to HR teams across locations.
    • Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits and leaves.
  • HRIS Administration:
    • Serve as the primary contact for HRIS technical support and maintain optimal system functionality.
    • Oversee database management, system upgrades, and data security.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement system improvements.
    • Generate accurate reports and dashboards for HR metrics.
    • Train new HR staff on system usage.
  • Compliance Management:
    • Draft and update policy documents in collaboration with HR leadership and legal counsel.
    • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain accurate employee notifications.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Support employee relations initiatives, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
    • Assist with various HR functions, including recruitment and training.
    • Maintain up-to-date information on the HR intranet.
    • Participate in committees focused on employee wellness and community engagement.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in human resources or business, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience, is required. HR certification is preferred. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
