Job Overview


The Vice President of Trade Sales plays a pivotal role in leading the trade sales division and is tasked with constructing and overseeing the trade sales team for Crystal Cruises. This position is essential in driving all trade sales initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue growth and achieving financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Formulate and implement innovative trade sales strategies to meet revenue objectives.


2. Supervise the creation and execution of inventive sales programs designed to expand market presence and increase the customer base across all product lines.

3. Develop, track, and modify budgets for all sales activities while ensuring compliance with the company's financial guidelines.

4. Analyze market data and trends to uncover new business prospects and improve existing ones.

5. Prepare and present reports on sales strategies and outcomes to senior management and the board of directors.


6. Remain informed about industry trends and best practices to guarantee that the trade sales team operates at optimal efficiency.

7. Build and nurture effective sales and support teams through recruitment and mentorship.

Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based, with typical noise levels from office equipment and light traffic. Frequent travel, including international trips, is expected, comprising at least fifty percent (50%) of the time.

Physical Requirements

The position involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. It may require lifting or pushing items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Manual dexterity is necessary for operating standard office machinery such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones, and other office equipment.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position that often necessitates additional hours beyond standard business times.

Qualifications

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, or finance.

Experience:
Significant years in sales leadership roles, particularly in driving revenue growth within the trade sector.

A proven history of meeting sales targets through effective management and coaching.

Experience in developing and executing business strategies.

A background in decision-making based on business metrics.

An inspirational leadership style with a hands-on approach.

Strong technical proficiency with Travel Studio and other commercial tools.

Robust budgeting and ROI analysis skills.
