Key Responsibilities


As the Senior Vice President of Casting & Talent Relations, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    Formulate and execute casting strategies that resonate with the company's creative and business objectives.
  • Team Management:
    Lead and mentor the casting team, offering guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with senior executives, directors, producers, and other stakeholders to grasp project requirements and casting necessities.

Talent Acquisition


Identify, assess, and secure premier talent for various projects across film, television, and digital mediums.

  • Establish robust relationships with agents, managers, and other industry professionals.
  • Conduct auditions, interviews, and screen tests to evaluate potential talent.

Project Management


Supervise the casting process from inception to completion, ensuring timely and effective execution.

  • Manage casting budgets and negotiate contracts with talent and their representatives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including diversity initiatives.

Industry Insight and Networking


Remain updated on industry trends, emerging talent, and competitive casting practices.

  • Participate in industry events, film festivals, and showcases to scout new talent and broaden professional networks.
  • Represent NBCUniversal in external meetings, conferences, and forums.

Innovation and Improvement


Continuously seek innovative casting methods that enhance the quality and diversity of our talent pool.

  • Implement best practices and technologies to streamline the casting process and improve efficiency.

Casting Responsibilities


Coordinate with the executive team to comprehend character requirements.

  • Brainstorm potential talent, considering emotional and physical characteristics required for each role across all shows and pilots.
  • Supervise casting schedules and manage auditions through casting platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team to follow up with performers and agents regarding their availability and interest in projects.

Talent Relations Responsibilities


Work with other departments to align programming and strategize talent career development.

  • Oversee all talent relations for unscripted talent across various markets.
  • Coordinate talent appearances at events and manage logistics for talent invitations.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to fulfill talent requests.


Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal's operational guidelines and adhere to all relevant regulations and procedures.
