Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Sales Manager and with indirect supervision and daily instruction from an assigned Project Manager(s). The role requires effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and all other project team members, including external customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager with managing internal department relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department regarding scope, price, submittals, and delivery for purchased items.
  • Manage job progress onsite, including leveraging design expertise to solve emergent operational and installation challenges.
  • Oversee and/or process daily administrative items per Project Manager's direction.
  • Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure the project progresses on schedule and on budget.
  • Evaluate and escalate potential problems and assist the Project Manager in driving solutions to their complete resolution.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience or a combination of experience and education.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency and proven success in interpersonal relationship building skills and positive customer service interactions.
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills.

This is a non-exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 6:00am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.
