Service Technician Overview

Our client is dedicated to ensuring that every commercial kitchen is fully equipped to serve its customers efficiently. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations by diagnosing, repairing, and performing scheduled maintenance on a wide variety of cooking, refrigeration, and dishwashing equipment. Your expertise will be essential in assisting our clients to enhance their food service operations, maximize equipment uptime, and improve overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities of the Service Technician

  • Deliver comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, ware-washing, and specialized foodservice equipment.
  • Provide exceptional service to all clients in your designated area by showcasing your mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in interpreting diagrams and schematics.
  • Engage with manufacturers as necessary to assist with diagnostics and parts identification.
  • Generate precise and timely administrative documents, including work orders, time reports, receipts, and inventory of truck stock.

Qualifications for the Service Technician

  • A minimum of one year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, or HVAC.
  • Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, which may include nights and weekends.
  • Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (such as EPA/CFESA) are preferred.
  • Experience in commercial refrigeration or cooking equipment repair is advantageous.
