Community Engagement Strategist

Overview: The Client North America team is seeking a Community Growth Manager to spearhead the launch of a new marketplace and community hosting initiative. This role involves co-hosting, where individuals or entrepreneurs manage listings on behalf of home hosts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate guest interactions, prepare listings for bookings, and oversee general hosting operations.
- Be a pivotal member of a pioneering team within our business framework, balancing hybrid program operations with extensive relationship management duties.
- Achieve revenue and business performance objectives.
- Design operational playbooks and adapt central strategies to align with local market conditions, influencing future community program iterations.
- Collaborate with central commercial teams, community teams, sales operations, and other cross-functional partners to pilot innovative projects and initiatives for scalability.
- Evaluate program performance and derive insights to formulate strategic plans that cater to the needs of hosts, co-hosts, and the Client business.
- Measure success through various metrics reflecting growth, retention, and the overall success of the hosting business in North America.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Business Operations, or Business Development within the Tech, Real Estate/Property Management, or Travel sectors.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving objectives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resourcefulness and goal-oriented focus.
- Strong project management expertise with experience in leading strategic initiatives.
- Ability to forecast, model, and optimize growth strategies based on performance data.
- Experience in sales or external relationship management across technology and consumer goods sectors.
- Proficient in influencing through negotiation and consensus-building.
- Quick assessment skills for identifying problems, opportunities, or business challenges, with effective decision-making based on presented facts.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities, complemented by strong business acumen.
- Passionate about community engagement and committed to driving revenue and growth.
- In-depth understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
- Creative leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Proactive approach with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Expertise in Excel (including pivot tables and data analysis), analytical tools (such as SQL), and methodologies for capacity planning and decision-making.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, and other technology solutions for managing supply acquisition and retention.
- Extensive experience with collaborative project management tools and processes (e.g., Asana, Airtable).
