Position Overview
In the role of Underwriting Auditor at AmTrust Financial, your primary focus will be on the Post-Bind phase. You will be responsible for executing internal underwriting audits for both New Business and Renewal accounts within our Commercial Property and Casualty sector. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure that accounts are processed in accordance with company standards while upholding a strong understanding of our mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit proficiency in conducting daily Post-Bind evaluations, working closely with risk quality assessment teams.
- Perform thorough assessments on new business accounts, confirming account eligibility in line with company policies.
- Collaborate on the analysis of monthly and quarterly post-bind outcomes, effectively communicating audit findings throughout the organization.
- Engage with business managers to review audit results and foster ongoing relationships.
- Remain informed about underwriting guidelines and authorities to assess risk acceptability.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of Multi-Line Underwriting experience, particularly with systems like AmTrust rating engines.
- Detail-oriented with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with WC & ISO coverages, along with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
