Position Overview

In the role of Underwriting Auditor at AmTrust Financial, your primary focus will be on the Post-Bind process. You will be responsible for executing internal underwriting audits for both New Business and Renewal accounts within our Commercial Property and Casualty division. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure that accounts are underwritten in accordance with company policies while maintaining a thorough understanding of our mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit proficiency in conducting daily Post-Bind reviews, working closely with risk quality assessment teams.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of new business accounts, ensuring compliance with company eligibility criteria.
  • Collaborate on the analysis of monthly and quarterly post-bind outcomes, effectively communicating audit findings across the organization.
  • Engage with business managers to discuss audit results and foster strong working relationships.
  • Remain informed about underwriting guidelines and standards to assess risk acceptability.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Multi-Line Underwriting experience, particularly with systems such as AmTrust rating engines.
  • Detail-oriented with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with Workers' Compensation and ISO coverages, along with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
