Position Summary:

The Automation Systems Engineer will be tasked with the programming, implementation, testing, and documentation of complex and sensitive computerized automated control systems. This role will involve collaboration with a Project Manager and potentially a Lead or Senior Control Systems Developer on various projects.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and success of our expanding business. The position can be based in any of our US offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive customer information.
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot PC/PLC hardware and software, as well as customer networks.
  • Assist in the installation and startup of control systems at customer locations.
  • Provide in-house and on-site training for customer operators on the control systems.
  • Be available for occasional after-hours client support.
  • Travel may be required for system installations and plant startup services, with potential travel expectations of up to 35%.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with engineers and designers from CRB, partners, and clients.
  • Expected to be present in the office three out of five days unless otherwise approved.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Computer Studies, Instrumentation and Controls, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for developing effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
