Are you a seasoned leader looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in driving performance excellence and ensuring the successful attainment of production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and lead time targets.
- Organize and address the training needs of teams, fostering a continuous learning environment and promoting skill development.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of 20-30 production associates, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the enhancement of industrial processes and optimize production efficiency.
- Take ownership of people management, including goal setting, competency development, recognition, and engagement, daily time-keeping, performance, and disciplinary management.
- Cultivate a safety-first attitude among all employees, promoting a secure and compliant work environment.
- Assume responsibility for the achievement of group performance goals and objectives, guiding your team towards success.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, showcasing your ability to navigate the intricacies of production environments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, indicating your commitment to optimizing processes and eliminating waste.
- Display analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to identify challenges and implement solutions.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with team management, lean manufacturing, and operations management.
