At National Indoor RV Centers, we are experiencing significant growth and are in search of skilled Paint & Body Technicians. The role of the RV Paint & Body Technician involves the repair, restoration, and repainting of damaged recreational vehicles. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of various body construction types and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing an array of tools and materials to restore vehicles to their original state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate damaged RVs and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Execute body repairs using tools and materials including hammers, grinders, and welding apparatus.
  • Replace or mend damaged components such as windows, doors, and trim.
  • Prepare, prime, and paint repaired sections to seamlessly blend with the RV's existing finish.
  • Conduct tests on repaired systems to verify proper functionality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in RV or automotive body repair is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various RV body construction methods.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and materials such as hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
  • Understanding of paint mixing and matching techniques.
  • Good physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy items and remain standing for extended durations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to high-quality workmanship.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily takes place on-site at the service facility.
  • May involve prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • May require lifting or relocating heavy equipment or materials.
  • May involve working in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
  • May entail exposure to loud sounds, fumes, or chemicals.
  • May require availability on weekends or holidays.
