NDT Technician Job Description

Aerotek is seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our team in the construction of the United States Navy's new Ford-class Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier and Nuclear Powered Submarine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct NDT inspections using various methods, including MT, PT, VT, RT, and UT.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any identified issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Requirements:
  • Certification in any of the following NDT methods: MT, PT, VT, RT, or UT, in accordance with industry standards (ASNT).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in NDT inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.
