Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a skilled Facility Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a global leader in building critical infrastructure, we offer a great opportunity for a mid to senior level Engineer interested in Facility Assessment and Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for safely planning and managing field-based asset inspection and performance evaluations of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with current and future non-destructive assessment and condition monitoring trends.
  • Coordinate and provide logistical support to multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Manage diverse data and asset information.
  • Assist in interpreting assessment data and producing quality reports.
  • Development of rehabilitation alternatives and designs.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management, Design, and Safety teams.
  • Development of maintenance plans for equipment assets.
  • Prepare proposals, technical papers, presentations, reports, and implementation plans.
  • Perform additional tasks in area of expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Years of experience in water and/or wastewater facilities and/or infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of assessment for water and wastewater facilities.
  • Awareness of assessment technologies for vertical facilities and piping systems.
  • Experience managing consultant field staff.
  • Experience coordinating with client operations and engineering staff.
  • Knowledge of facility and pipeline design.
  • High regard for field work safety.
Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must complete pre-employment requirements.
