Program Manager - Water/Wastewater/Stormwater

Herbert Rowland & Grubic is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our water/wastewater/stormwater projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects, overseeing program implementation, and guiding our clients towards successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve client goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and project teams.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate project progress and results to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Accounting.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, stormwater engineering, local government management, utility management, or municipal finance director role.
  • Knowledge of municipality class codes and Municipality Authorities Act.
  • Working knowledge of Portfolio Management, Program Management, and Project Management.
  • Strong communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in the United States.
