Water & Wastewater Resident Project Representative I

At Herbert Rowland & Grubic, we're seeking a highly skilled Water & Wastewater Resident Project Representative I to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. As a key member of our team, you'll gain valuable experience in civil engineering practices and construction observation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site observations of work in progress, ensuring compliance with contract documents.
  • Document and report any discrepancies or non-compliance with contract documents.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure all items are completed or corrected, and make recommendations to the Project Manager for acceptance.
  • Review project schedules, shop drawing submittals, and schedules of values prepared by the contractor.
  • Maintain accurate field observation reports, including photographs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in construction observation and administration related to water and wastewater projects.
  • Basic survey, grade, and cut sheets, and quantity data.
  • NICET certification, desired.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Valid driver's license to travel to job sites, meetings, and/or other office(s).
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
