The estimated salary range for this position is between $15.90 - $21.60 per hour, reflecting the importance of fair compensation for skilled meat cutters.

Job Description

As a Carnivorous Market Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of product knowledge. Your duties will include:

  • Complying with all company policies and government regulations
  • Meeting or exceeding management planning guidelines once training is complete
  • Treating coworkers with fairness, dignity, and respect
  • Developing product knowledge in all areas of the meat department, including cooking procedures

You will also be expected to:

  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times
  • Support company safety standards by communicating equipment repairs and maintenance needs
  • Observe and maintain company sanitation and food safety standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team environment
  • Effective customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job

Prior experience as a meat associate or previous meat cutting experience is highly preferred. Additionally, you must meet minimum age requirements and possess the physical abilities necessary to perform the job demands.
