Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Aide to join our team at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards in public areas or guest rooms
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
