Position Title: Logistics Coordinator

Role Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator at Jackson Durham is essential in supporting the event production workflow, collaborating closely with the Director of Operations and the Warehouse Manager. This position is crucial in ensuring the efficient preparation, transportation, and setup of event components. Upholding the highest industry standards, the Logistics Coordinator assists in actualizing our clients' visions, reflecting the exceptional quality benchmarks that characterize the Jackson Durham brand.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily logistics, including deliveries, pickups, and event preparations.
  • Organize and stage event materials, ensuring they are ready for transport and installation.
  • Maintain and repair event components, including furniture and staging items, to meet Jackson Durham's aesthetic expectations.
  • Oversee warehouse organization, ensuring a tidy and efficient storage environment.
  • Safely load and transport event materials, using appropriate protective measures to prevent damage.
  • Set up and dismantle event components on-site, working effectively to implement the design plan.
  • Actively participate in the post-event breakdown process, ensuring all materials are returned to storage in excellent condition.
  • Support warehouse inventory management, contributing to organization and inventory tracking initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Valid driver's license with the capability to drive vehicles as needed for event logistics.
  • Physical ability to handle the demands of event setup and takedown, including lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions. Applicants with mobility restrictions need not apply for this position.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Experience in the event industry is a plus, but not required.

Educational Background:

  • A high school diploma or GED is a plus, but not required.

This position is initially offered on a temporary, hourly contract basis, with no guaranteed minimum hours.
