Job Summary

The successful candidate will facilitate substance use individual and group counseling sessions, as well as psychoeducational classes. They will also be responsible for composing individualized notes for each client and documenting in ICANOTES, ensuring compliance with COMAR and CARF standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead substance use individual and group counseling sessions, promoting client engagement and progress.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, detailed records of client participation and progress.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless delivery of services, adhering to established protocols and timelines.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified SUD counselor with experience in group facilitation and substance use disorder treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.

Work Environment

This is a part-time, contractual position with a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
