Compassionate Counselor Needed

BayMark Health Services is dedicated to providing individualized treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse. Our comprehensive approach integrates pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support, and medical services to help patients achieve long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced counselor to join our team. As a counselor, you will work with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, conduct group and individual sessions, and provide support and guidance throughout the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility
  • Develop and review treatment plans with patients
  • Complete bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Involve families and significant others in the recovery process
  • Develop aftercare and discharge plans
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with others
Requirements
  • Current CAC-AD and CSC-AD status as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland
  • Satisfactory criminal background and drug screen
