Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Architecture Manager to join our team at FM Global. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team of Analytics Solution Architects and Data Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a technical strategy and roadmap for Data Analytics, ensuring alignment with FM Global's product and technology vision.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of technical standards, documentation, and best practices for Data Analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Manage the budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of technical tools and software necessary for the Data Analytics department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology evaluation, vendor management, and technology proof of concepts.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing technical teams, with a focus on Solution Architecture and Data Platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and educate stakeholders on technical concepts and best practices.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring technical leaders, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and build trust across teams and disciplines.
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and OpenAI.
