Job Summary:
Troon Golf, L.L.C. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared in accordance with health department regulations and our company's quality standards.
- Team Management: Supervise and train a team of chefs and cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and service.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and food products as needed to ensure we have the necessary ingredients to meet our menu demands.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure we are operating within our budget.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field, plus 6-12 months of experience in a high-volume culinary environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Certifications: Food Safety and Applicable Sanitation Training.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), EAP, life insurance, disability insurance, and paid time off.
