About the Role:
- Develop and implement traffic management plans to minimize congestion and improve traffic flow.
- Analyze traffic data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, and community groups, to ensure that traffic plans meet their needs and expectations.
- Design and implement traffic signal timing plans to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, and community groups.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest traffic engineering technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in traffic engineering.
- NJ PE License (PTOE preferred).
- Previous experience with NJDOT and MPO/County Projects.
- Experience as a Project Manager or Traffic Engineering Task Leader.
- Proficiency in CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driver's License.
