Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician Level 3 is a key member of the Beck Suppliers Inc. team, responsible for performing maintenance tasks across various facilities and locations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by providing efficient and effective maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshooting and Communication: Troubleshoot general maintenance issues and communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure a clear understanding of project priorities and requirements.
  2. Project Scheduling: Follow the daily project schedule developed by the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  3. Task Execution: Perform assigned tasks efficiently and competently, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  4. Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communication with the Supervisor and/or Maintenance Coordinator to address day-to-day issues and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  5. Field Activity Reporting: Submit required field activity reports within the schedule required by Beck Suppliers Inc. procedures.
  6. Inventory Management: Maintain a neat and orderly inventory of job site materials and equipment.
  7. Accident Reporting: Complete accident reports accurately and thoroughly, if necessary.
  8. Interpersonal Relationships: Foster friendly, cooperative relationships with other Beck Suppliers Inc. personnel.
  9. Safety Programs: Participate in safety programs as required by Beck Suppliers Inc. procedures.
  10. Company Policies: Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
  11. Maintenance Scope: Provide maintenance services for various work scopes, including fuel systems, buildings, millworks, store equipment, HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, signage, site, and other general maintenance required for the organization to operate.
  12. Subcontractor Management: Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to dispatch subcontractors as needed and ensure projects are completed correctly and as requested.
  13. Cross-Training: Cross-train and work with other sub-divisions of the Facilities division as required.
  14. After-Hours Support: Participate in the after-hours on-call rotations.
Evaluation Criteria
  1. Safety Performance: No reportable safety violations resulting in lost time or property damage.
  2. Task Completion: Complete all assigned tasks in a timely, professional, and complete manner.
  3. Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Supervisor and service requesters.
  4. Paperwork Accuracy: Provide complete and accurate paperwork for data entry.
  5. Inventory Management: Maintain job site and vehicle inventory in a neat and orderly manner.
