Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at MJ Care Inc. The successful candidate will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality physical therapy treatments and procedures to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in developing treatment plans and implementing routine functions.
- Document patient progress and modify treatments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Transport patients safely and assist with transfers.
- Administer various physical therapy treatments and modalities.
- Measure patient progress and report results to Physical Therapists.
- Conduct therapy sessions within established standards of care.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state license and/or certification to provide physical therapist assistant services.
- Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- 1+ year of experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate must be able to lift and transfer patients, work in a limited space with equipment, and use protective equipment as needed.
