Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at MJ Care Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering exceptional treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans, ensuring patient progress and safety.
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and interventions, using your expertise to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory requirements and MJ Care Inc. standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient needs, ensuring a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state license and/or certification to provide physical therapist assistant services in good standing.
- Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- 1+ year of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or patient care environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Accurate problem-solving, organization, and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand, walk, and move around the treatment area, with occasional lifting and transferring of patients. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.
