Key Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans in accordance with state laws and under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Document Patient Progress and modify treatments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate Effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Transport Patients Safely and assist with transfers as needed.
- Administer Therapeutic Exercises and modalities, such as ultrasound and heat therapy, to promote patient recovery.
- Monitor Equipment Operation and record use and administration of treatments.
- Fit Patients for Orthotics and Prosthetics as needed.
- Uphold Professional and Ethical Standards at all times.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Current Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy (NBCPT).
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills required.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
