Job Summary

MJ Care Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans in accordance with state laws and under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Document Patient Progress and modify treatments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate Effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Transport Patients Safely and assist with transfers as needed.
  • Administer Therapeutic Exercises and modalities, such as ultrasound and heat therapy, to promote patient recovery.
  • Monitor Equipment Operation and record use and administration of treatments.
  • Fit Patients for Orthotics and Prosthetics as needed.
  • Uphold Professional and Ethical Standards at all times.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • Current Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy (NBCPT).
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills required.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
