Key Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
- Provide Patient Care by instructing, motivating, and safeguarding patients as they practice exercises or functional activities.
- Communicate Effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Operate Equipment and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Transport Patients safely and efficiently to and from treatment areas, adhering to positioning requirements.
- Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school.
- License/Certification: Current state license and/or certification to provide physical therapist assistant services in good standing.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficient computer skills, strong communication skills, accurate problem-solving, organization, time management, and math skills.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 100lbs. Specific vision abilities required include reading documents, reading computer screens, and observing workspaces. The job includes risk of biohazard exposure and requires use of protective equipment.
