Role Overview:
The Retail Operations Supervisor serves as a pivotal leader in the absence of the Store Manager, embodying the essence of business ownership within the LensCrafters framework. This role is essential in positioning LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision care within the community while achieving key performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Performance Management:**
- Strive to meet or exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs) including Comp Sales, Sales to Plan, Conversion Rates, Customer Count, and Net Promoter Score.
- Analyze and understand retail dynamics to enhance sales and operational outcomes.
2. **Team Leadership:**
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to guide and develop a high-performing team.
- Provide training, constructive feedback, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
3. **Business Strategy:**
- Assist in diagnosing business challenges and leverage retail, lab, and doctor synergies to drive positive results.
- Support the execution of store business plans to maximize sales and profitability.
4. **Customer Engagement:**
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Uphold the store's visual standards and appearance, reflecting pride in the brand.
5. **Operational Excellence:**
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while meeting all operational goals.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current and valid state Opticianry license.
- Minimum of 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
Employee compensation is determined by various factors including experience, qualifications, and local market conditions. In addition, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health care, retirement savings, and employee discounts.
